Michael Jordan said, ‘It’s perhaps not just how difficult you push along the way, it’s having something in one to finish.’ I know, I desire he was dealing with an In N Out burger too. Maybe with part of animal fries.

All joking aside, it’s important to close out your senior 12 months, stay consistent and finish strong. Keep doing that which you’ve been doing the past 4 years and do not let up. You Say Goodbye, I Say Hello (Hello, Hello)

After a year and a half (virtually) working I find it bittersweet to say that this is my last blog post with you, our followers. Today is my last day at USC. Sharing my voice through the blog happens to be this type of fun learning experience. I had been in a position to learn a passion for web development and user design/experience, and I have always been excited to state that i’ll be shifting to continue employed in that field!
I am forever grateful for the time i have spent at USC and I can’t state sufficient about our and professional development while I’ve been here. The individuals who work right listed below are GREAT at whatever they do; you are typical in good hands. It’s particularly inspiring to operate every alongside colleagues who truly care about this work day. These are typically peers, but i’m honored to also phone them friends.
Finally, it mightn’t be considered a web log post without my usual list. Here are the top 3 things I discovered throughout my two and a half years at USC.

Do not Stop Learning
For all of you that are about to begin university, the following four years will likely be the time that is last your life that your work is always to discover. Learning is exactly everything you will be doing 24/7. Carry this spirit of learning you have graduated and approach every day knowing that there is always more to learn with you after.

Free Food rocks !
In reality, this is budget advice. I have found so I always take advantage of free food that I spend the most money on food every month. The mistake was made by me of taking too long to determine just how to monitor my cash. Like John Maxwell stated, ‘Tell your hard earned money where you should get alternatively of wondering where it went.’

Diversity Rules
I adore my workplace for many and varied reasons; one of them is due to the many backgrounds of my peers. There exists an operating joke in the workplace we are (and we dress ON POINT) that we sometimes look like a United Colors of Benetton ad because of how diverse. But in every seriousness, being around my colleagues has caused me personally to master more about other peoples’ experiences and perspectives. Discover to understand the huge benefits of diversity. You’ll be a better frontrunner, community member, employee, employer, and human being.

Well, that’s it for me. To my pupils from Napa, Sonoma, Santa Rosa, Davis and the state of Washington, I am going to dearly miss you during travel period. It is truly been a pleasure serving all of you and in the terms of Ron Burgundy, ‘Stay classy and thanks for stopping by.’

We now hand you down to your blogger that is new and colleague, the hostest using the mostest, Sam Schreiber.

Hey everyone else!My name is Sam and i’m so excited to be joining the USC Admission we Blog! I’ve been working at the https://shmoop.pro/ office for very nearly four years now and possess worked with Houston, Austin, San Antonio and the central coast of California since I began. I’m from SoCal and attended Calabasas senior school before you go to Nashville, TN for university. At Vanderbilt, we double majored in Spanish and therapy and then arrived back to Los Angeles and did a masters in social work only at USC.

I had been really taking part in the admission office at Vandy (that is what the kids that are cool it, I vow), and dabbled in graduate school as well, so pursuing college admissions as a vocation had been always on my head. As well as having the ability to play a role in degree having a group that is great of, I love using prospective and present pupils. My theory is I stopped growing up at around age 16, nonetheless it is also feasible young ones these times are simply super cool.

I really hope to bring an truthful and authentic perspective to the admission blog and help people see that the admission counselors really are just you are like you, whoever. I have no doubt that whatever topics I cover there will be individual anecdotes thrown in there (and probably cat pictures) but also wish to provide insight into exactly what is a very process that is human. Thanks for reading!
